Luc is a former CMA CGM executive with over 40 years of experience in shipping. He has spent 15 years in Line Management (South America, Transatlantic) and 15 years in charge of Strategic Research and Studies for the Presidency and the General Management of CMA CGM.
Luc is a veteran of the industry, he has lived all major changes that transformed shipping in the last decades: containerization, end of maritime conferences, concentration, stronger environmental regulations, etc...

Eric is a regular presenter and moderator at industry events and webinars. Here she covers air and ocean freight rates using Xeneta’s unique freight rates data gathered from shippers and freight forwarders. Understanding the fundamentals driving freight rates means Emily also spends plenty of time analyzing the global shipping fleets and available capacity as well as the global economic situation and its impact on trade.

Carl is a long-time supply chain exec. As an operations leader in groups such as LafargeHolcim, he made a career in warehousing, transport, and distribution. In 2007 he was appointed Managing Director of the freight forwarding division at CMA CGM, the world’s third largest ocean carrier. His proven leadership at CMA CGM made him evolve to VP of Innovation. This is how he discovered the gap between the latest available technologies and the outdated shipping management systems: even large companies leveraging the market leading ERPs often perform their daily tasks via shadow IT processes using emails, excel sheets, and instant messaging tools. In 2015 Carl founded BuyCo to help importers and exporters simplify, optimize, and secure their ocean shipping operations through digital innovations.
