What is the Multimodal new feature?
The ‘Rate’ page will reflect more accurately your transport contracts with truck transporters and/or ocean carriers.
It will be possible to plan a shipment from stuffing to stripping, with multiple operators (including a carrier).
What changes?
1/ The 'Rates' page becomes the 'Routing options' page.
Register all your contracts of carrier freight rates, ocean carrier haulage, merchant haulage at origin, and merchant haulage to destination.
Display your allocations and freight rates.
Import/Export mode to update your freight rates (validity, price...) in mass.
2/ Plan Vessel
Switching from ‘Carrier move type/Origin/POL/POD/Delivery’ to ‘From/Via/To’.
Get different options of itineraries, based on your transport contracts.
Select your vessel depending on a wished ETD or ETA, CO2 emissions, cheapest routing, best allocation, earliest vessel departure...
We have also updated the "Templates", "New Shipment" and "Mass Operation" pages to reflect these changes.
